    Chronological contradictions
    Top
If a chronological contradiction is discovered at least one comic has to be split. This is done by clicking on the comic.
Pay extra attention to flashbacks (they can be hard to place, and one comic can contain more than one flashback) and time travelling.
    Example of chronological contradiction

    Combine selected comics
    Top
If a comic appears more than one time in a figures list it will automatically be numbered while added. If it wasn't numbered a chronological contradiction would be created. If a lot of figures appear in the comic it will be splitted much more than it needs to be. They can be combined by selecting all the comics you want to combine with a square and then selecting "combine selected comics" from the edit-menu. The comics have to be on the same horizontal level. See example below.

    Square
    Top
A square can be created by clicking somewhere in the graph outside the comics and drag the mouse. The comics that are inside the graph will be selected and coloured red.

You can write more than one comic if you separate them with ". The list will start with the first beginning comic that is found and end with the last of the ending comics.

    Edit figure dialog
    Top
With this dialog you can change the figures name, line, group and chronological list. If the list is changed it will be replaced in the graph. If keep layout isn't checked the layout will be lost.
    Edit figure dialog

    Group/line
    Top
To be able to see which line in the graph that belongs to which figure. There are ten groups that can give the figures ten different colours. All figures can have their own line. If there aren't enough space for all the lines they will be drawed in the same "line-channel".

    Keep layout
    Top
If checked the layout will be kept in the graph when a figure are added, replaced or deleted. This is useful if the graph is big and/or the layout has been edited.
But it takes longer time if the graph isn't very big so the recommendation is to add all the figures you want to have in the graph before you start to edit the layout. If you then discover that you want to add a couple of more figures or delete some of the added, mark keep layout before you do that.
If a chronological contradiction is discovered the layout will not be kept
